In the past six months, the awards have been pouring in for SunGard K-12 Education’s PLUS 360 administrative software for K-12 schools and school districts.
The PLUS 360 products—a single integrated suite of software solutions for the management of student information, assessment and curriculum, special education, and financial and human resources—provide district staff anytime, anywhere access to important district information. The solutions can be deployed to work together or implemented as stand-alone system to help meet educational goals and requirements.
In November 2013, the eSchoolPLUS student information system was named to the 2013 District Administration Readers’ Choice Top 100 Products. eSchoolPLUS and other featured products were nominated by K-12 educational leaders and administrators from across the country as those that have made a positive difference in their efforts. The list was selected by District Administration editors based on the quantity of nominations, as well as an evaluation of product quality.
In March 2014, the eSchoolPLUS Teacher Access Center—which allows teachers to quickly access the information they need and provides tools for managing student grades, taking attendance, and reporting discipline issues—was named a finalist for the 2014 SIIA Education CODiE Awards for Best Classroom Management Solution. The SIIA CODiE Awards, which are one of the premier awards for the software and information industries, have been recognizing product excellence for 29 years. According to Karen Billings, vice president of the SIIA Education Division, Teacher Access Center and the other finalists “are breaking ground with new business models and innovative products.”
In April 2014, the PerformancePLUS assessment and curriculum management system was named Best Online School District Management System in the 20th Annual Best Educational Software Awards. Sponsored by ComputED Gazette, the program recognizes innovative and content-rich programs and websites that provide parents and teachers with the technology to foster educational excellence.
Joel Hames, director of product management, credits these recent awards to SunGard K-12’s commitment to listening to our customers. “SunGard K-12 Education is proud to develop software that supports our nation’s educators in helping to improve student achievement,” he says. “Every day, our team is focused continuing to provide tools that make our customers’ jobs easier.
